The VW Beetle established itself as a classic car for over the rest of the century. It has been built for hundreds of thousands. Reliability, inexpensive price, simple motoring and lasted for good is the advantages that the car has to offer.
The Beetle was well known since it is proven to be bombproof. There was a film showed that it can deliberately drive off the top of a steep sand dune. Just to show how strong it was, it rolled over to the bottom and then drove off once more.
