Toyota Launched Luxurious Hybrid Sedan Sai

Toyota launched the newest luxurious hybrid compact sedan for the Japanese market called “Toyota Sai“. This car went on sale on 7 December 2009.

Sai comes from Japanese word that has two different meanings when written in different kanji. First, it means talent. As for the second, it means coloring. Then, the two things put together, Toyota becomes a great talent and sophistication of multi-colors.

Toyota Sai uses a 2.4-liter gasoline combined with electric motors. Further, this car uses ecology plastic made of plants, and the materials meet the 60 percent of the interior surface.

The fuel consumption is 19.8 km / liter. Of course, the ability loses when compared to the Prius. The mainstay of Toyota Sai is the variety of advanced security equipment. The lowest price is 3.38 million yen (USD 36,943) and the most expensive is 4.26 million yen (USD 46,561).
