Mazda 2 Review – Super Mini and Stylish Car

One of the best selling products from Mazda is the Mazda 2 that has become the focus of automotive enthusiasts, especially in Europe and Asia. Even in its origin country, Japan, the Mazda 2 has got the “World Car of the Year”. At the Sakura country, Mazda 2 is known as Demio. Meanwhile, in the other counties are sold with name Mazda 121 or Mazda Metro.

The market target of Mazda 2 is the attractive young consumers, where they need the dynamic lifestyle and stylish appearance. Although this car is very small, lightweight, and can also be categorized as a super mini car, but this car also has the soul of sports car inside.

With the engine type MZR 1.5-liter, four-cylinder DOHC that carries the S-VT (Sequential Valve Timing) technology and ETC (Electronic Throttle Control), although spurred by suppressing and reducing pressure on the gas pedal, Mazda 2 is still efficient in terms of fuel efficiency. This car also produces low Co2; it means this car is also environmentally friendly. For the type of manual transmission, Mazda 2 could reach 15.6 km / liter, but if the traffic condition is very solid, its efficiency cannot reach 15 km / liter.

With MacPherson strut suspension (front) and H Shape torsion beam (rear) you will hear a noise that can interfere your ears, especially when entering the concrete and perforated contoured roads. However, with two additional passengers in the rear, one in the front, this car will be more comfortable to control.

Mazda 2 is available in several model choices i.e. three doors and 5 doors, for the engine category, there are two options available i.e. petrol and diesel. While for body color choices there are available in 10 types of body colors. There is also Mazda 2 special edition namely Mazda 2 Tamura. The price of Mazda 2 is approximately $ 13.818 – $ 16.307, but it depends on the type you choose.
